An art exhibition in Beijing will feature works of antelope art, a move by Beijing that’s drawing the ire of conservationists.
The antelope exhibition will be held at the Beijing Art Museum in September, with works from five different antelope species.
The exhibition is one of a number of Chinese exhibitions taking place in Australia, which the country is seeking to expand.
In January, China was awarded $US20 million to improve its conservation efforts in Australia’s far north.
In March, Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang unveiled a proposal to build a large artificial island to house 1,400 wild animals.
