Bolognese city hall is hosting a temple exhibition on Monday, May 19, with the title The Temple of God.
The exhibit, called The Temple on the Hill, features works from the Bolognas best-known architects, the architects of the modern Italian city and Bologns most prominent public works, including the Pantheon and the Grand Trunk.
The exhibition opens at 9 a.m. with performances by local musicians.
The first artist chosen to work on the show is the Bruges-based architect Jorgo Zielinski, who was honored by Bolognians in 2017 for his work on Palazzo San Giovanni in Bolognia.
In addition to the artists, the exhibition also features a selection of Bolognos frescoes and sculptures.
The Bolognai city hall has invited the public to submit comments on the exhibition.
A live stream of the opening ceremony is available on the city hall website.
The show will be open to the public for 10 days, and the final exhibit will be unveiled on June 2.
